Application:
Quickdraws (or simply quickdraws) are essential for sport and alpine climbing. They are a fundamental part of the belaying system and are clipped at regular intervals along the climbing route into anchor points such as bolts, pitons, or mobile protection.
They consist of two carabiners connected by a webbing sling.
They allow climbers to quickly and easily secure themselves at different points without having to re-tie the rope each time.
Tip: Before each climbing route, find out how many quickdraws you'll need for the entire length. As a general rule, it's better to have 2-3 too many quickdraws than one too few. It's always possible to accidentally drop quickdraws while climbing, and they might become unavailable.
