Our 4-season sleeping mats, with an R-value of 4.8 and higher, are suitable for almost any adventure.
The R-value, on a scale of 1-10 (+5 to -50 °C), describes the thermal resistance of a material. The higher the value, the colder it can be outside and the better protected you are by a coating on the inside of the sleeping mat. In other words, the cold cannot rise from the bottom.
