This product is the Petzl "GRIGRI" semi-automatic descender.

Product description:

Weight: 175 grams

Optimized for single ropes with a diameter of 8.9 to 10.5 mm . Rope compatibility: Single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm.

The GRIGRI by Petzl is a long-established abseiling device with locking support for indoor and rock climbing.

It is suitable for both top-rope belaying and lead climbing. For lead climbing, we recommend the Petzl GRIGRI Plus , as it offers additional convenience features such as easier rope payout via a switch.

The GRIGRI features a lever for a smooth and controlled descent of the climber. It is used as a standard belay device in many climbing gyms.
