Comfort range definition |
The comfort temperature indicates the lower temperature limit at which an average woman (25 years old / 60 kg / 1.60 m) can sleep comfortably through the night. Even inexperienced users will feel comfortable within this range. | The limit temperature indicates the lower temperature threshold at which an average man (25 years old / 70 kg / 1.73 m) can sleep comfortably through the night. To stay warm, the user must adapt his clothing and behavior accordingly within this range. | The extreme temperature indicates the lower limit of the temperature an average woman can tolerate for a limited time of 6 hours under severe cold exposure. Sleep is impossible at this temperature. In this risk zone, a strong sensation of cold is to be expected. There is a risk of health problems due to hypothermia (low body temperature). |
The perception of cold is very subjective. The stated temperature ranges correspond to the manufacturer's specifications. If in doubt, we recommend choosing a slightly warmer sleeping bag than you think you'll need, or simply wearing an extra layer inside your sleeping bag.
In our personal experience, the temperature information should be assessed in combination with a long base layer of clothing (functional underwear).
Product description:
The sleeping bags are up to 200 cm long and always come with a free hygiene liner.
The liner, like the sleeping bags themselves, is hygienically cleaned and provides additional protection for both the sleeping bag and you. It can also be used as a hut sleeping bag without any problems.
We use synthetic sleeping bags because they are easier to clean.
Another advantage of synthetic fibers is that the heat is retained even in a damp sleeping bag (which is not the case with down).
