Product description:

The Exped FlexMat LW is an extremely robust and reliable sleeping mat made of closed-cell foam . It's ideal as a standalone mat for minimalists in warmer seasons or as additional insulation under an inflatable mat in winter. The mat has two equally suitable sides: one bright orange for better visibility in the mountains, for example, and the other olive green for survivalists.

Thanks to its foldable Z-design, the mat can be set up and taken down particularly quickly and is also resistant to holes or moisture.
Perfect for minimalists, bivouac adventures or as a backup mat on expeditions.

The R-value, on a scale of 1-10 (+5 to -50 °C), describes the thermal resistance of a material. The higher the value, the colder it can be outside and the better protected you are by a coating on the inside of the sleeping mat. In other words, the cold cannot rise from the bottom.
